What determines the price

Surface area

The biggest factor. A detached house quickly has twice the roof area of a terraced house.

Pitch and complexity

Steeper, more valleys, dormers or chimneys: more hours and more fall protection.

Choice of material

From concrete tiles to ceramic or natural slate, the difference can be large.

Insulation and sustainability

Renewing the roof is the smart moment to insulate as well.

Condition of the roof deck

In older homes the deck is sometimes affected. We see that during the inspection.

What should I do in case of a roof leak?

Limit the damage straight away: catch the water and contact us as soon as possible. Do not wait too long, a small leak quickly spreads to insulation, woodwork and ceilings. In an emergency we are on your roof within 24 hours for emergency cover, and we look for the real cause at the same time.

When do I need roof maintenance or a roof inspection?

Have your roof checked at least once a year, and extra after a storm, with signs of ageing or with recurring damp. A timely inspection prevents large repair costs and tells you exactly which parts need attention.

Is roof insulation or HR++-glass the smarter choice for my home?

That depends on where most heat is lost. In many homes most heat escapes through the roof, but glass and window frames also play a big part. That is why we look at roof, glass, frames and connections together, so you invest where it pays off most.
