What we need to know.
- Your address — so we know whether you fall within our service area (Eindhoven and surroundings, 30 km radius).
- What is going on — leak, broken tile, dormer issue, or planned project. Short description is enough.
- Photos if possible — both the interior symptom (water spots, ceiling) and the exterior (roof view from ground or window) help us assess remotely.
- Urgency — emergency, this week, or planning ahead. Influences how quickly we schedule.
From first contact to fixed-price quote.
- Photo or call — within an hour we respond with an initial assessment.
- Inspection on-site — typically same week, often same day for emergencies. We climb on the roof, photograph the situation, take measurements.
- Written quote — within 3 to 5 working days for standard projects. Includes scope description, materials specification, work duration, total fixed price including 21% VAT, and warranty terms.
- Discussion — you can call back with questions. Adjustments to scope are possible before agreement.
- Agreement — written by email or signed PDF. We schedule the work.
- Execution and handover — own craftsmen, photo report on completion, warranty document.
No surprise extras.
Every TBGS quote separates clearly: materials cost, labour hours, scaffolding or platform if needed, VAT (21% standard, or 9% reduced rate on labour for homes older than 2 years), warranty period, and start date estimate.
If conditions change during execution (rotted wood found under the existing tiles, additional damage discovered) we stop, document the new finding, and request your written agreement before continuing. No retroactive surprises on the final invoice.
Payment terms are 14 days after delivery for residential customers. We do not require down-payments for standard work, though large material orders (custom windows, specific tiles) may have a partial advance on those specific materials.
